My parents and nieces left our house on Friday morning. We rested up from a week of partying and late nights and then I headed up with the kids on Sunday morning. Luke needed to work and since I was taking the week off with the kid, I thought it would be a good idea to go visit my family in northern California.
Here are my three vidiots on the drive up.
So peaceful!!
Monday was shopping, shopping, and more shopping. Good times with my mom and all the kids. :)
How do you entertain yourself while Grandma is shopping for purses in Nordstroms?
Wiggy loves the kitty Anna.
Monday night all the kids ended up gathered around Holden while he played on the IPad....like moths to a flame!
Tuesday we headed to the water park in Roseville, Sunsplash. It was crazy busy. A lot of people, but we still had fun spending the day with Grandma, Bert, and three of our cousins!
Tuesday night we slept at mom and dad's house. We were up bright and early so we could head to San Francisco for the day. Lucky for us, Luke's sister was able to drive down from Petaluma to spend the day with us.
Driving down Lombard street.

Last minute I decided to make it Zip Zabba Day for the kids. We had so much fun playing around the city. It went by really quick since we needed to have Aunt Jenny back to her place before 6pm. On the way home we stopped for a beverage and I let the kids pick out something from Target.
Thursday morning we had a leisurely morning and ate breakfast with the cousins before we hit the road.
The kids were ready to be out of the car...and so was I.
On the left, was Scout with about 80 miles left on the road. We stopped at the Tulare outlets and got her some cinnamon sugar pretzel sticks. She was cool for the last leg of the trip. The boys had ice cream cones from Rocky Mtn. Fudge Factory.
Thank you Bob and Lindsay for letting us bunk with you the first two nights of our getaway. Thank you mom and dad for letting us take over the downstairs room with our beds the last two nights.
Maybe we should make this a August tradition! :) We had a lot of fun...as usual.
