Tubbs had requested mama's cinnamon rolls for his birthday breakfast. After breakfast Tubbs showered and got cleaned up. I took him for a bike ride around the neighborhood for about an hour. After we got home I took him to Sweet Surrender to pick up cupcakes that Grandma Hogue had ordered for him. After we got back from that pick up, I took Bubba to Urgent Care. We had an "appointment," but we still waited FOR-EVERRRRRRRRR. We didn't get home for three hours by the time I had dropped off the prescription. The good thing was I able to catch up on my scripture reading. (Gotta look at the bright side sometimes.)
Tubbs requested a birthday dinner, with French Toast. Tubbs doesn't like bacon or sausage, so he kept it simple with a side of eggs. Tubbs also doesn't like pepperoni...which I think should be a sin. Who doesn't like bacon and pepperoni?! For birthday dessert he requested a pazookie from BJ's. Bubba was still not able to eat and had a fever, so he stayed home. We brought him home a vanilla shake which aside from a breakfast cinnamon roll, was the only items he consumed all day.
All in all I think Tubbs had a very quiet, low key birthday. I enjoyed riding around with him for a bit and talking with him. He received his birthday gift two weeks before his birthday, so I think having it before his actual birthday took a little bit of the fun away.
Popping birthday balloons with a whopping $11 cash inside.
His birthday gift....a "fixi bike." He used his birthday cash to buy new blue pedals, handlebars wrapped with yellow tape and a red chain. It's like a rainbow bike. Hahaha.

A few days after his birthday Luke picked up Tubbs from school and took him to a birthday lunch at Wendy's. Tubbs swears they have the best burgers.
For his birthday party Tubbs invited a few friends to go watch Paul Blart - Mall Cop 2.
