Hot Date with McHottie

My husband surprised me Friday night with news that we were going to get a hot date on Saturday!
Luke even lined up the babysitter. He contacted "St. Carianne" a while back and she agreed to watch the three bugs so we could spend an afternoon/evening together. Thank goodness for Carianne! We love you!
First stop....a foot massage. Luke had seen this new shop open up a few months ago that advertised a "1-hour foot massage for $25." He made a reservation and thank goodness he did...because we were the only ones there! :) When we got there we were both elated to find out that the foot massage also included our head, neck, hands and shoulders. My masseuse even gave my butt cheeks a little attention! Seriously. (I asked Luke if he got the same treatment, but his male masseuse neglected that region!) LOL.
Anyways---we LOVED the "foot massage" and we would go everyday if we could. It was a great way to start/end a date! Highly recommend it.

Our messed up hair and red cheeks after getting rubbed down! The first 2 minutes of the massage my make-up was rubbed off from the eyebrows up! Good thing I wasn't out on a first date! :)
Next stop....El Pueblo in Lamont.
Haven't eaten here together in 2-3 years. So good....and we love the Mexican food here. Luke's favorite is the seafood enchilada. I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas blancas! MMMMMMMMMMM! We got there before 5pm and we had the whole place to ourselves for the first 30 minutes! Loved it.

Final Destination.....Edwards Theatre to see "Date Night." Yes---its true...date night to go watch "Date Night." I couldn't make up my mind which movie to see, but I am glad we saw it. Funny! They do drop one "F-bomb" and its rated PG-13. Good message for "ol married folk" and Tina Fey/Steve Carell were of course FUNNY. (If you need another reason to watch it, Mark Wahlberg makes a few appearances with no shirt on in every one of his scenes!)
On our way out of the theatre we saw a crowd in front of Que Pasa. Apparently Jason Castro ("American Idol" guy with dread locks) was on the patio tuning up for a 9pm KELLY Lounge performance. I took a few pictures....and we ran off to get our bugs! Six hours of alone time with my big hunk of burnin' love! :) Amazing. It was just what the doctor ordered!

I had so much fun and Isaac is waiting for his partner in crime to go on some more treasure hunts. Enjoyed all my snuggling time with Jiggs and Sawyer kept me laughing at all his funny comments. It was a good time for us too. GLad I could help make your night fun! Call me again! Soon!!!

That Stop Wasn't On My Itinerary....

So the Hogue's made it to Florida for our first official family vacation. It was Sawyer's first plane ride....and Simon's first plane ride that he can remember. We were excited....the boys were stoked. We had everything we needed! But it seems that Sawyer packed something with him that wasn't on our checklist: a big case of pneumonia. Yes, the little fella made it almost one whole day in Florida before he started heading downhill fast. Our 2nd day in Orlando we were in the Urgent Care south of Cocoa Beach. (By the way, to see a doctor more quickly, it helps if you vomit all over the waiting room in front of the receptionist. Little tip for ya) After chest x-rays they advised us to head to the ER in Melbourne, where they eventually admitted him to the hospital. So, we had 3 night deluxe accommadations at the Holmes Regional Medical Center. The little whipper snapper was a trooper though! The nurses loved him, thankfully, and made us all feel right at home. We were going to send postcards out with pictures of the hospital since we spent 40% of our trip there...but they didn't have any. Imagine that!Hmmm.....maybe its something they should consider.
