I also love that our "Spring/Easter break" from school always falls the week before Easter AND we get the day after Easter off from school too! Friends and family had a week off school as early as mid-March or the week AFTER Easter.
Saturday afternoon I am at Wal Mart grocery shopping when I realize how "unprepared" the Easter Bunny is this year. Luke and I almost completely forgot about Easter basket stuff! (I know--its not the end of the world. My kids would've just made me feel that way!) What kind of parent would I be?! :) I was wishing at that point in Wal Mart that my kids all ready knew that the Easter Bunny is the same person who makes their lunches everyday and picks them up from school.
Coloring eggs Saturday night:
Luke's Jeep egg. He makes a "Jeep" egg every year, but this year he offered a reward for the person who finds the Jeep egg in the egg hunt on Sunday. (I was pretty sure there was going to be a knock down brawl bewteen the boys to find that egg!)
All Petunia wants to do now is crawl up on the table/counters:
Easter baskets...complete with Pokeman cards and candy:
Chocolate for Easter breakfast:
Easter morning we were all dressed and ready 30 minutes before church was supposed to start!! Its a Easter miracle!
So, we had time for some torturing (aka family pictures):
My handsome boys:
After Sacrament we asked a friend to take our family picture:
After church Luke's parents and siblings came over for dinner. We had a traditional meal of tacoes, rice and Mexican salad! :) It was a great visit with everyone and the boys were really excited to see their cousin Kylee!
We sanf Happy Birthday to the April birthdays: Kylee, Uncle JP and Tubbs:
