We did ask big daddy what he wanted for breakfast and after much contemplation he came back with his usual answer...cinnamon crumb cake. I can do that! A side of scrambled eggs and milk.
Breakfast is served! :)
Daddy opened his super-duper special Pug card that Wiggy picked out.
We got dad a new BBQ for Father's Day....which he still needs to pick out. Haha.
Luke gave Bubba a buzz-cut before we left.
This boy has the thickest head of hair!
The drive up was pretty easy and quick.
Driving 300 miles is nothing after our first week of traveling.
Because it was Father's Day, we let dad play DJ and listen to all of his crappy music from the 80's. Who knew this guy could play all of the air instruments, including the tambourine!? :)
We got to Grandma and Grandpa Baer's house before dinner time. Grandpa opened up a few gifts we brought.Grandma Baer made Grandpa's favorite stuffed pork chops with stuffing, as well as some baked chicken. We also had green beans from Grandpa's garden.
After dinner they watched the Golden State Warriors lose game seven of the NBA finals to the Cavaliers. Tubbs was not very happy.
When it started to get dark we headed to the back porch and the kids made some smores for dessert. They are so spoiled now! They have had them three times now in the month of June. Every time we come to visit, they get Smores.
The three dogs like to get marshmallows thrown their way.
Rufus thinks he can beg his little pal for some of her Smores.
It almost worked Rufus. Almost. :)
Found this picture of Grandpa Baer when we was 10 years old, so I put it side by side with Bubba when he was 11 years old.
Happy Father's day to my favorite fathers---Luke, Seven Bears (Grandpa Baer) and Grandpa Hogue! I love you very much. XOXOX
