We kicked off June with a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Baer's house for a few days. We drove up right after Bubba's graduation on Thursday. I picked up Tubbs and Wiggy from BV, dropped off their stuff at the house, grabbed our bags and hit the road for Roseville! We were anxious to get up there and arrived before dinner time.
After "breakfast" dinner we hung out with Grandma and grandpa on the back porch. Grandpa lit the fire pit and everyone made Smores. Mmmmmmm. The kids loved it.
Friday morning Grandma was out and about working at the school, so we took Grandpa with us to see the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie! :) Thankfully, it was pretty decent and made us all laugh. Now Grandpa needs to see the first movie to catch up. Haha.
Wiggy couldn't pass up getting her photo taken with this Dory advertisement in the lobby of the theater. For lunch we picked up McDonalds and Subway for everyone.
Bubba's graduation card/gift from Grandma and Grandpa Baer. Bubba also got some graduation money from Grandma and Grandpa Hogue.
Lucky boy!
Saturday was toasty so the kids all swam! Grandpa and I sat out by the pool and supervised from the shade. :)
Grandpa was showing Natalie how to send a proper text to someone you like. It was pretty funny to watch him text Grandma Baer. Natalie was giggling.
Saturday morning I had my mom hem some Gap khaki's that I bought, that I wanted to convert to shorts. Wiggy took the scraps and made a bib for Rufus.Saturday evening we headed to Cheesecake Factory for dinner with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Sarah. Sunday morning, June 5th we loaded up and drove home! Luke said he was bored and was anxious to have us home. When we arrived, he was in the front yard waiting. Haha. The kids and I were happy to see him!
Took the kids to 24 Street Cafe one morning for breakfast! As you can see, they aren't fans of the huge cinnamon rolls at all! :)
Tubbs' friend Colby had a end of year party at Rush Sports on June 6th. Afterwards they went back to his house for swimming and pizza.
Wiggy spent the day with Julie on Thursday, June 9th. I am so thankful for her friendship and for helping us out while we make summer arrangements for Wiggy. She sure enjoyed hanging out and having some girl time with Julie. She colored, played video games and ate her fave lunch.June 9th was Luke's last day of work and mine before heading out on family vacation. We spent the rest of the evening getting everything ready to go. We did somehow manage to get to bed by 8pm! Gotta get up early Friday to get to LAX by 4am.
